These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website groundworkcompliance.com (the “Site”), operated by Groundwork Compliance & Training (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
# 1. Who we are

# 2. Use of this Site
You agree to use this Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of, this Site by any third party. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, its systems, or any server or database connected to it.
# 3. No professional advice
The content on this Site — including blog posts, resources and general information — is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial or compliance advice specific to your circumstances.
You should seek your own professional advice before relying on any information provided on this Site or acting (or refraining from acting) as a result of it.
# 4. Purchased templates, training materials and services
Where you purchase templates, training modules, or other digital products or services through this Site (including via our third-party payment provider):-
**Licence, not ownership** — Purchasing a template or resource grants you a licence to use and adapt that material for your own organisation’s internal use only. It does not transfer ownership or copyright to you, and you may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share purchased materials with third parties.
**No guarantee of regulatory outcome** — Templates and training materials are designed to be adapted to your business and are not a substitute for your own compliance obligations or professional legal advice. We do not guarantee that use of our materials will result in regulatory compliance for your specific business.
**Custom engagements** — Compliance packages, advisory work, and systems builds (including SharePoint intranets and website work) are subject to the specific scope, fees and terms agreed with you directly for that engagement, which take precedence over these general Terms where they conflict.
# 5. Payment and refunds
Prices for templates, training modules and packages are as listed on the Site or as quoted directly to you, in Australian dollars, and may be updated from time to time.
**Templates and digital products** — All sales of templates and other digital products are final. Due to the nature of digital content, no refunds are offered once a template or resource has been purchased and made available to you.
**Custom engagements** — For compliance packages, advisory work, systems builds, or other custom engagements, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the agreed start date. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the agreed start date may not be eligible for a refund, at our discretion.
# 6. Intellectual property
Except for material you have purchased a licence to use as set out in Section 4, all content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, and design — is owned by or licensed to Groundwork Compliance & Training and is protected by Australian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written consent.
# 7. Third-party links
This Site may contain links to third-party websites (for example, AFCA or ASIC). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party website, and inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.
# 8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Groundwork Compliance & Training excludes all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of this Site or reliance on its content, except where such liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
# 9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
# 10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
